The electronically controlled Elabo insulation test devices are each equipped with a safety-current-limited power supply. This concept exempts the testers from such safety standards as EN 50191. All the system devices feature a direct test object connection on the front plate, but they can be used equally well in fully automated test rigs, since all the connections and interfaces are led to the back of the device.
Various high-voltage testers and combi-testers also possess the ability to measure insulation resistance and - with an extended functional scope - they can alternatively also be used to perform this test.
