Calibrating test equipment

Be it for safety or quality purposes, test equipment is indispensible for achieving and maintaining prescribed statutory and internal corporate standards and goals. To guarantee this for the long term, test equipment and systems must themselves be tested regularly. Elabo uses its own test equipment for calibration, and this equipment is calibrated with DKD test equipment at least once a year.

Time savings

Production shut-downs due to equipment calibration? That’s not necessary. Elabo maintains a pool of rental and loan equipment, primarily HV, PE, IS and ABL devices that we send to our customers after an equipment test or that can be picked up from our outlets. These appliances are rented/loaned with their housing but without accessories.

Elabo supports its customers, particularly around test systems, before the situation turns into a “worst case.” Following consultation, client companies receive a defined spare parts package. With these materials and our hotline, which operates during business hours, downtimes can be significantly reduced. If required, we will of course also come to our client’s sites to put test systems in working order as quickly as possible.

While calibration primarily concerns guaranteeing safety standards, dummy testing comes down more to testing functional integrity. Individual units as well as highly complex test systems are tested to ensure that they record measured data correctly and that error assessments run without problem. The required dummy modules are available on request.

Contractual security

Service contracts with Elabo comprise testing for proper function, inspection and replacement of wear parts, fine-tuning of settings and documentation of the measured data in a calibration certificate. A clear advantage for client companies is that every service contract includes a detailed specification of services tailored to their concrete requirements.
